North of the path from the parking to the acropolis and close to the museum lie the remains of the "Lion Tomb" - the name derived from its vicinity to the Lion Gate. The tholos has a collapsed roof but you can see all the features characteristic for tholoi of group II. Looking down to the chamber there is a majestic stomion. |
